Miss world 2025 opal suchata: the best day of my life. It’s very important. It, it marked a milestone in my life with my success, not only of myself but also My Beauty With A Purpose project and my people back in Thailand as well. How proud, uh, you’re feeling today, especially because now Thailand is on, uh, international level. In fact, you’re on the Miss World level.
It’s… I could never be pr- more proud. This is our first Miss World crown. We’ve been waiting for more than 72 years. So I’m very proud and I believe that my people are as well. If you would want to sum up your journey, like how has the entire journey been in winning this title? Um, it’s been three years, I think since I stepped into pageantry. And it’s, it’s been a long but also time flies short journey.
A Dream Come True: Thailand Wins Its First Miss World Crown
And I feel like I have worked really hard these past years to make a mark not only for myself but for my country and for all the people that I am standing up for, for my project, and for her as well. And I think that the crowning tonight marks the success, the milestone of me and my people.
How difficult was it for you to win this competition]? Uh, I w- I would say I worked hard for it, but I would, I wouldn’t say that it’s, it’s difficult because, of course, whatever you want in life you have to work hard for it. And if it’s something really worthy of your hard work, it’s really important to your heart, you wouldn’t say it’s difficult. Did you expect this win? Sorry? Did you expect this win? Honestly, a little bit, but yeah, it’s, it’s, it’s, it’s not easy to, to win a title here in Miss World.

That’s why in Thailand we also received the first crown, but yes, in my heart, I hope. And this one also, the, uh, question was very, very difficult. It was long. Yes. It was difficult for anybody to understand, but you gave the perfect answer. Can you tell me wh- what was going on in your mind that time? What was going on in my mind? Yes. I was thinking, “What?” Because the microphone was a bit low, so I didn’t really hear the question.
there are bigger responsibilities ahead
So, um, fortunately he repeated it another time. That’s why I get to understand the question. And so I try to make the most of the understanding of the question and just poured my heart out for the judges to hear what’s inside. Now, now that you’ve won the title finally and, you know, we… It’s, it’s always been said that it’s, it’s very difficult to sustain the success that you’ve got. So, you know, like, uh, there are bigger responsibilities ahead.

What are your plans ahead? Like, how are you going to take this up? I think this is one, one thing that people think about when it comes to pageantry because we only have one year in our reign, so people will say that it’s gonna be really hard to maintain your success or your fame or your power. But I think this is something that it’s not only just one unit and it depends on what you do in your reign. If you create an impact, uh, to every people, to everyone in this world, that is how you leave your legacy.
And even though you step down for, from your reign and we are welcoming our new Miss World, people would always remember you and people would always be… They have a better life because of you. And that is what I define success. What message would you like to give to young women watching you today? I would say to always believe in yourself and to always stick to your core value. I’m here today because I stick to my value, to my purpose, and I believed in myself that I could be here today.
And also to, uh, always stay true to yourself and don’t forget to love yourself throughout all the journey you go because, of course, making a mark in your life, it’s not easy. It could be tiring sometimes. It could set you back sometimes. But if you never give up on yourself you’ll, you’ll be there. Whenever you will go back to your country maybe recently but maybe after two days or three days.
What do you expect to opal suchata miss world thailand
what do you expect and what will be-the first thing you will do in your country? I will… I think I would scream to my people actually. I would literally stand in front of them and be like, “Ah!” Because we will be so happy and I hope that, um, all of my people will be welcoming me back home to Thailand. I just know they’re gonna be very happy and excited. And today who do you want to thank- from your personal life, I would say?
From my personal life I would like to thank all the breast cancer survivors that I’ve ever met in my life and patients as well because when I started this journey, of course we come with our own purposes, we come with our own reasons, like I said, to make a mark in my own life. But what kept me going is the inspiration I received from all the patients and the survivors and doctors I’ve been working with and everyone, all of my team that I’ve worked with throughout my journey.
It’s been a while already that they are the reason that pushed me to where I am today. One more question. Did you try any Indian cuisine? Sorry? Did you try any Indian cuisine? Yes, I tried Lenka and Sari. Who is your favorite miss, Indian Miss World? And we have six miss worlds. Who is your favorite you look up to? Can I choose? Yes.
I actually met her today. One of my favorite was Manushi Chhillar and also Priyanka Chopra. When- I love so much. When was that moment that you finally felt that you should take part in the bea- beauty pageants also? Sorry? When, when was that moment that you… that told you that you should take part in the beauty pageants? What, what has been the… What motivated you to take part and then now finally you did it?
What has been that one thing that has worked for you finally
It’s because of my breast cancer journey. I had a, uh, breast lump surgery when I was 16 and, uh, it wasn’t cancer fortunately. It was just a breast lump. I was, I was lucky to get the chance to pursue my dreams and I thought about those who don’t get the chance to. That’s why I feel like pageantry is one of the best platform where you can go up and speak for those people. That’s why I joined. What has been that one thing that has worked for you finally that, you know, stood out from other contestants?Sorry?
If I ask you any quality or anything, like, you had that perseverance or determination, what has been that one thing that has worked for you that you s- stood out from among all the contestants? Well, I think all of our contestants are unique in our own ways and I see that being here at the Miss World. But if I could offer one thing on the table from me, myself, I would say empathy and understanding because that’s how I’ve always lived my life and go through life gracefully with all the people around me. Because I think it’s very important you have empathy and understanding among each other.
That’s how we can move forward together. And- What about any social cause would you really like to work for, maybe which is very, really close to your heart? What’s really close to my heart is breast cancer awareness. But I also would love to work with other projects as well. And then I actually- Have you seen- … like you would be interested in Bollywood. Do you know any of the stars, like, you know, Bollywood stars? I,
I said if you get an offer you would say you would work. And adding to that question- I know- … have you seen any Indian Hindi films or, uh, any other languages before? I know Alia Bhatt. Oh. I know her from, um, the movie… Oh my god, I always- That’s okay. The name is always gone. Do you, do you know the name? Kangubai. Tell, tell us about it. Yes, Kangubai. It’s one of my favorite movies. I love this… It’s so inspiring. Yes. That’s how I know her. And in the south also, like, you know any south film or Bollywood movie?
Let’s say Indian film industry. Bahubali? Oh. Bahubali. Yes? Yeah. Who just… We… Of course, the main guy in the story. Prabhas. So, what, do you have a celebrity crush on, crush on Prabhas? Uh, I’ve never watched the movie, but we’ve been to Ramoji Film City. Okay. That’s how I get to know the film called Bahubali. Mm-hmm. And I promised to myself after the competition I will watch the film. So, maybe after if we meet again, I watch the film, we’ll have an update on that.
How much Today also there are few, today also there were few actors who came, uh, in the- Yes. So did you met them? Yes. And how was the experience? Oh. They look unreal. They look like angels. They look so good. I was standing on the stage and I was like, “Oh my god, they have the aura.” Yeah, so. They welcomed you to the film industry also.
Um. Sorry? They welcomed you to the film industry also. Well, we haven’t got to talk but if they do- Yeah. … then it would be an honor. How is the film industry in Thailand? In fact, like, there are , uh, you know, there are films makers, they, um- Yes. How, how much is the, you know, uh, liking it, like for films actually in Thailand? Film industry in Thailand to me is quite similar to India.
It’s also really big because- Big. … Thai people, we love to watch movies, we love to watch TV series. And all of our crews, whether it’s the actor, actresses or out behind the scenes crews, they’re very talented. So, we hope that we could produce more quality films out for everyone in this world to watch. Thai film is, uh, again, Thai film industry is the way you said, very, very big even to the, uh, uh, Thai reality shows and the Thai dramas- Yes. … super. Thank you so much. So, uh, your favorite, and have you watched any Indian or Hindi, uh, drama or any other dramas?
I have… I’ve never watched drama TVs but I would definitely watch… Since, like I said, I was at the Ramoji Film City and I realized how big the industry in India is. So, I cannot wait to get in my blankets, turn on my iPad and then watch all the Hindi films and series. And what about Thai dramas? Because would you like to go for it because they are very big- Yes. … the Thai films are very beautifully done and beautiful stories.
What do you have to say Miss world 2025 opal suchata
Yes. What do you have to say? Would you like to go? Please. I would love to. Of course, I grew up watching Thai films, Thai TV series, so it’s something that really brought me up and it’s very close to me. It would be a very good opportunity to be in it. So who are you taking to Thai dramas- Will this, uh, crown brings lots of- Yes. … from here? Are you taking Alia Bhatt there? Oh, if I could, hopefully. Now, this crown brings lots of responsibilities also.
And what are you planned in the future that you would really want to work, you know? I think that with the Miss World Organization, they have taken all their queens around the world to give support to those who are needed. And that is what I’m looking forward to and the reason why I’m here at the Miss World.
And like I said, my, the cause that I am working on is breast cancer. And I would love to make it more impactful throughout the world to every woman around the world, but also other causes that I would get the chance to support as well. So who had come along with you? Uh, did you watch the, uh, uh, the dance of the Bollywood actors? Yes. And- In the movie… This is one thing I really like about Bollywood and, uh, Hindi films. You always have the best music, the best dances in the movies.
