Then the DA that you get is made zero. Bhaiya, this is why it is made according to the fitment factor. However, apart from that, you also get travelling allowance or TPT allowance. There are many other types of house rent allowances, which are called HRA, which give a huge hike in salary. Brother, if you have your own house or rented a house, then you will get HRM.
If you have a government house, then you do not get HRM. Okay, like when someone goes for training. Policemen go for training, the government has given it to them. You have not bought a house, the government is keeping it with you. They are bearing the expenses of training. So, for example, if I say what is the fitment factor? Multiply it, double it, so double the basic salary. This is two point five seven. Fitment factor two point five seven.
Last time the 7th pay commission
Last time, the 7th pay commission came, the fitment factor given was two point five seven and it created such a stir in the salary. How did the salary become two and a half times? Yes, it did. Basic salary is fine, for example, if I see, it was 7000. First of all, if I see, if you go before that, the constable used to have a basic salary of 8400. Today, it is 21,700.
Okay, so this has happened through this pay commission. Since when? It was implemented from 2018. It was supposed to be implemented from 2016, but the government had to pay less. Although, the aerial says that it should have been paid from the time it was implemented, so the arrears of the two years that the government delayed should be paid, but the government did not do so. It was implemented in 2018.
Basic salary of level one
It was about 16, but the government paid only a little for those two years and started again from 18. It is okay to pay, so the basic salary used to be 7,000. However, DS on it had gone up by more than 100%. That is a different matter. But when seven thousand was multiplied by two point five seven, it became eighteen thousand, so the basic salary of level one was decided and similarly all those who were above level two or level three were made like this by multiplying two point five seven. Okay, so let me explain further.
The eighth pay commission which is being talked about will be implemented from 1st January 2026. This is the applicable rule, but if the government has to pay less for one or two years, then it takes 2027-28 to implement it by taking it, dragging it, dragging it. In the Seventh Pay Commission, the employee unions had demanded so much fitment factor, but how much did they give? Two point five seven. They had asked for more than three and a half times the salary but they gave this much.
How much is the demand this time? Even now there is a demand of three plus. So brother, if there is a demand of more than three, then the government will give two and a half. It does not seem that there is a chance. I will also tell you how much chance it seems to give. It is fine now. See the chances that are being created. What is the fitment factor and how much impact will it have, so I have explained this fitment factor to you.
Now I don’t need to explain here because this is calculated from the minimum basic salary. If you pay the same amount as last time, then it will be 46 thousand 280 and someone tells that this time you will get this much. So brother, if you get this much, then his salary will become 51 thousand 480 basic. Then add TPT allowance to this.
Then somewhere eight, sixteen, twenty four percent HRA is added to this, twenty four percent of it. Where will the four salaries reach? Think it will cross 70 thousand for a level one job. If it is fine according to this, then it is difficult for a person earning 18 thousand to get 70 thousand salary because as of today, he would be earning 34-35.
A person earning 18 thousand gets 55% DA, right? So let’s see, the calculation will be like this, I have already told you that. This is the previous calculation. If I tell you further, brother, at present the basic salary is 18 thousand, for someone in level one, 18 thousand, I am talking about level two, level three, all have different salaries, level two has 19 thousand eight hundred nine hundred, 19 thousand nine hundred. Level three has 21 thousand 700.
Level four has 25 thousand something, level five has 29 thousand something and level six has 35 thousand something. Okay, so in this way it is different. Level seven has 44 thousand 900, so it is different for everyone. Basic salary level wise, okay, so I am talking about the lowest level, 18 thousand. So I am giving an example on this that as soon as someone’s salary is made today, then 55% DA is added to it.
Dearness Allowance in New Pay Commission
DA will become zero. Dearness Allowance in New Pay Commission. Okay, DSLR is called in English. Then in this, if someone lives in a city like Delhi, then on 24, sorry 30% HRA. Earlier it was 24, now it has been made 30. 30% HRA is made. 30% of this will be added. Those who are on duty in a city like Delhi, in a city like Chandigarh, in Mumbai or Chennai, then 30% HRA is made in them. These are expensive cities, so 5400 becomes HRA only.
Plus 55% of this will be added, then 1890 to 9000 and a half ₹9000 will become so 18, 27, 05, 32 is straight. Then TPT allowance will become 3000 something like that. So in this way this salary also reaches around 35-36 thousand. As of today, if this fitment factor gets implemented, I just made it 51,000 and showed it to you. I will explain this in a little more detail. So, this is how things work.
Okay kids, and there is also a talk that the government will at least do this much. Also, if the lowest amount is given, then the level one will be given the level two amount. Now, level one will start from 19,900 and the level two will be given the level three amount. The level three will be given the level four amount. This is the lowest amount but how much fitment factor has come in it. Very little one point will come.
Okay, so the three fitment factors that are being discussed now, the three fitment factors that have come to notice, the talk about these three fitment factors is that Bhaiya, if the lowest amount is given, then 1.92 means its chances are the highest. In the Eight Pay Commission, 1.90 will be given to 1.92 because 2.57 was given last time. Now we will give 2.5. At that time when 7000 became 18000 then it increased by 11000. Today we will give 2.57, it is becoming 51000 from 18000. This is becoming 46000. Whatever it is, if I see now, 2.5 yes this is becoming 46000.
So at that time, 11000 was increasing with the fitment factor from 7000. Today see how much it is increasing. Today it is increasing by 28000, so brother, it is increasing by this much. Hence if 11 more was increasing then perhaps this fitment factor would have been received. If 15 was increasing instead of 11, then we would have got it. But look at how much this is increasing, then it doesn’t seem like there is a chance of getting this much fitment factor.
If it is fine in any way, then the fitment factor which seems to be the minimum, the calculation of which seems to be around 1.90 1.92, that it will probably be given, so if I do the further calculation from 1.92 and show you 18 thousand, then you will understand better that the current situation is taking 18 thousand basic i.e. level one job. Its basic is 18 thousand. It gets 55% DA. As of today, it has increased by two percent to 55.
In the last 10 years, it is fine, now if you see because it increases twice a year, then it is 3060, fine. Now the basic has become this. Okay, this basic pay is made according to the basic pay and if someone’s basic pay is a little more, then it is a little more and that too is made city wise. This is also there, right? Hara is also city wise. As I just told you, in a city like Delhi, 30% is given but somewhere it is even 20%, so if I see his salary in Delhi, it will be ₹36,360.
As of today, he is the lowest employee. In a city like Delhi, he must be earning this much money in a government job. Now does he get this much in full? No, the 10-12% of his basic salary which will go to the government’s deduction will definitely go, 12% is fine. That will be deducted a little. He will not have to pay any income tax, because now you know upto what time income tax has been made free. So, there will be no income tax, so it will not be deducted, so if he has some more CGS facility, then that will be deducted, ₹600 to ₹650.
Know what happens in insurance
Okay and if I talk about insurance, 30-35 rupees are deducted. That is all that is deducted. So if I look at all the things together, then he will get around ₹34,000, ₹33-34,000 and that too is being deducted for his future. It is not that he does not have the money, he has a right over it too.
Now I will talk about commission on eight, what will be the new salary if they make it the minimum. However, as per the demand of the union. NCC FM is probably some such name on which this demand is placed. There are people from the government as well as people from the union and they have assured to consider all the demands given by them that yes brother we will discuss with them and take a decision and let you know.
So it is expected that at least this much will be given. So I have done the calculation that if we give this much instead of 18 thousand then what will be his salary, so 34 thousand 560 will be the basic. 3060 was the last time and this will also be revised. Obviously there will be some plus in this too.
Okay, TPT allowance will definitely be made, okay, so it will definitely be made. TPT is called transport allowance. Okay, it is TPT and whatever is the XI basic, it means it depends a little according to that. Secondly, the 24% HR which will be made, when there will be such a big salary, then eight slabs of 1624 will come again. So in places like Delhi, 24% will be given. Then the maximum will be 24 only and this can be increased or decreased.
That is their wish. Okay, so if 24% is made then 11 thousand 750, so the salary which was 36 thousand will become 49 thousand 370. So no one should think that my income will double or triple. Even if there is a difference, it will be only this much. It will not read more than this. Okay and you can do the rest of your calculations according to this. If you increase it a little more and it goes above 50, then it will read something from here or the TPT allowance.
Salary of level one employee and everyone else is different
Then sir it is right that it is crossing 50 thousand. If it is a level one employee then level two will be even better. Level three which is a constable will cross 70 thousand. Yes, it will definitely do so. It becomes a little less in status because green green can only make this much and this is a big factor in increasing the salary.
